1955 marked the opening of two mens' dreams. Walt Disney’s Anaheim theme park opened its doors and so did Lloyd Edman Fine Furniture store. Fifty years later, each is still going strong.
The historic Big Y Shopping Center in Eugene housed Edman’s first store. From that location he sold furniture and the first color television in Eugene.
In 1963 he built a new showroom on the city “outskirts,” just across the Ferry Street Bridge on the corner of Coburg and Oakway Roads. Now in the heart of the town, the store has remained in that location since then.
Whitney Edman has decorated some of the finest homes in Oregon. Her stunning use of color and texture sets Edman in a league of its own.

Edman Fine Furniture celebrated its 50th anniversary of serving Oregon in 2005. Our family invites you to share our passion for tradition, quality and style in both Eugene and Bend.
Babe Edman and his brother bought the store from their father in 1975. Today, all three of Babe’s daughters, Whitney, Beth and Ann are actively involved in the business.
The family furniture store began serving the Bend market with regular truck-runs in the mid 1970s and opened a showroom in an historic downtown Bend building in 2006.
With fifty years of service, tradition and knowledge, you can trust Edman Fine Furniture to give your home a distinctive look and style.
